Role, availability & values

He has 800 hit points, 40% hand resistance, 5.0 speed and 24 line of sight; his healing reaches range 12. The ranged attack deals 18 damage at range 20 and has a 3× multiplier against Treasure Guardians but only 0.25× against Villagers. His Sharpshooter attack deals 750 damage to Treasure Guardians only and has a 60-second cooldown. His 475-damage Crack Shot requires the Industrial Age and has a 90-second cooldown. If defeated, he collapses and can be revived after regenerating to 100 hit points near a friendly unit or building.

Matchup & timing

Use the ranged attack and Sharpshooter against Treasure Guardians, and keep his low Villager multiplier in mind when defending an economy. Healing and visibility support the field army, while auto-scouting can reveal a route during another task; check the route before sending him into danger. Reserve Crack Shot for a high-value target after its Industrial Age requirement is met, and keep the hero safe during its long cooldown.

Several abilities serve different targets

Usman’s ranged attack is specialized against Treasure Guardians and is inefficient against Villagers. Sharpshooter deals 750 damage but can target Guardians only, with a 60-second cooldown. Crack Shot deals 475 damage, is available from the Industrial Age and has a 90-second cooldown. These are distinct abilities; do not treat their listed damage as his ordinary repeated ranged attack.

Support and scouting for the Hausa force

Usman can heal at range 12, reveal Stealthed units and train Fulani Archers. Auto-scouting can uncover terrain while the main army moves elsewhere, but the hero still needs a safe route and recovery plan. If he collapses, a friendly unit or building must remain nearby until his health regenerates to 100 for revival.
