Vistula Basin
Vistula Basin is a Random Map themed around the grassland plains adjacent to the Vistula River in Eastern Europe. Its in-game starts and resource placements are generated for each match.

Map character
Locate the winding Vistula, the grassland Trade Route and the capturable Mills guarded across the map. Free a nearby Mill only after scouting its guardians; each captured Mill provides a steady Food trickle. Check Jagiellon, Vasa and Wettin sites before taking the army away from the river corridor.
What to scout
Capture a Mill when its Food income can be held safely, then add a route station or settlement as the army grows. The river divides the teams, so identify crossings before moving siege or workers to the opposite bank. Royal House units can shape the army, but do not leave captured Mills undefended to collect an alliance.
River, Trade Route and capturable Mills
The winding Vistula divides fertile Polish plains and separates the teams. A Trade Route crosses the open grassland, while capturable Mills are guarded across the countryside. Freeing a Mill gives its owner a steady Food trickle, making exploration and local control an economic reward. The Mills are spread out, so secure one safely before sending the whole opening force toward the center.
Royal Houses and open-field pressure
Jagiellon, Vasa and Wettin Royal Houses are the map’s settlements. Their options can support a tailored composition, including powerful native units such as Winged Hussars and Lipka Tatars. Cossack Daredevils and Hajduks appear as outlaws. The open map allows movement between the river, Mills and Trade Route, so keep workers and captured sites protected as control changes. Vistula Basin is a Knights of the Mediterranean land map.
