Function & construction

The Chinese build the Pagoda as the chosen Wonder. Disciples arrive through its age-up reward; their combat role and current statistics are specific to that unit and version. The Pagoda’s reward is not a generic infantry shipment and should be compared with the other available Chinese Wonders.

Placement & timing

Choose White Pagoda when Disciples fit the next army or mission objective. Protect construction and prepare a place for the arriving units to join the force. If the army instead needs economic support or artillery, compare the other Wonders before committing builders and resources.

Disciple reward and age-up planning

White Pagoda is a Chinese Wonder that sends Disciples when completed and advances the player to the next Age. The Wonder is available for each age transition from Exploration through Industrial Age, costs the normal Chinese age-up resources and is built by Asian Villagers. It has 5,000 hit points and a 4-by-4 footprint. The arriving Disciples are immediate reinforcements, so choose a rally point where they can join the existing force rather than wandering from the construction site. White Pagoda is a military choice among the Chinese Wonders; compare its Disciple reward with the economic or artillery support offered by other options. Protect the structure while it is being built and plan how the new units will be used before selecting it.

Choosing the Disciple shipment

The Chinese can choose White Pagoda when advancing through the standard Age-up sequence. It sends Disciples as its completion reward, so it adds immediate units without requiring the player to queue them at a Barracks. The Wonder itself has 5,000 hit points, is one-per-player and is built by Asian Villagers; keep the rally point near the force that will use the Disciples. Their role is distinct from the standard Chinese army and should be checked on the Disciple page for exact combat values. Select White Pagoda when the army benefits from extra support units now, and compare it with the Temple of Heaven’s Rickshaw/Export options or another Wonder’s reward when the economy has a different need.

Reward details and age-up decision

The White Pagoda’s value is concentrated in its completion reward: it delivers Disciples alongside the Chinese age advance. This makes it useful when a player needs an immediate addition to the army without waiting for a separate production queue. Disciples are a distinct support unit, so their presence should complement the main Chinese force rather than replace units with dedicated anti-cavalry or siege roles. The Pagoda is one of the Chinese Wonders available during the ordinary age-up sequence and can be selected from the Exploration Age through the Industrial Age. Asian Villagers build it; the structure has 5,000 hit points, 12 line of sight and a 4-by-4 footprint. The one-Wonder limit means its reward competes directly with the other age-up choices. Decide based on the next fight and the value of the alternatives, then protect the builders until the Wonder completes.
