Overview

Gajah Mada races to rescue Jayanegara during the Kuti rebellion. Break through the occupied city before the king’s defenders fall, then escort him out through hostile territory.

Player approach

Unconditional Loyalty starts with few resources and no Town Center, while each rescued Villager strengthens the force. Establish the first base away from the obvious starting position and grow before expanding.

Step-by-step plan

Move the initial group toward a viable settlement site before spending scarce resources on infrastructure. A western location near hidden gold supports an early army; the southeastern Gaia Mining Camp offers both gold and stone; the far eastern corner is easier to defend but less convenient for expansion. Gather fleeing Villagers as they appear, stabilize food and wood, then add production and claim the next deposit with an escort.

Risks and adjustments

The Rebels rush the initial position, so avoid building the permanent base where the scenario begins. The eastern corner can trap the army economically; plan a later breakout if choosing safety over nearby resources.
