The Battle of Falkirk wall-and-Castle defense
The Battle of Falkirk begins with useful Feudal buildings and Outposts, but the English destroy those outer warnings and attack with Longbowmen, Pikemen, and Battering Rams. Complete the walls and reach Castle Age before the pressure builds.

Overview
The Battle of Falkirk begins with useful Feudal buildings and Outposts, but the English destroy those outer warnings and attack with Longbowmen, Pikemen, and Battering Rams. Complete the walls and reach Castle Age before the pressure builds.
Plan and execution
Connect the starting defenses with Stone Walls and Gates, then gather resources for Castle Age. Add a Siege Workshop and University, prioritizing defenses that improve the wall line and towers. Place a Castle near the river crossing to cover the approach, and keep ranged units behind walls to punish Longbowmen while melee units intercept rams. Repair damaged sections before they open a path into the base.
Risks and adaptation
The English do not advance beyond Castle Age but their ram pushes can breach a thin wall. Avoid spending all stone before choosing a Castle position that protects the crossing and the main base.
