Battle Anger is a Commerce Age Lakota Community Plaza technology that greatly improves listed Lakota units against Artillery. It increases the War Chief’s artillery bonus damage by 500% and the bonus damage of Axe Riders, Bow Riders, Rifle Riders, Tashunke Prowlers and Tokala Soldiers by 100%.

Research costs 350 Wood and 1,000 Coin and takes 10 seconds. The effect changes bonus damage against Artillery for the named Lakota units; it is not a general damage increase against Infantry or buildings. Secure the Community Plaza and field the affected units before relying on the counter bonus.

When to research
Research when the opponent’s artillery is a central threat and the army includes the listed Lakota counters. The high Coin cost is easier to justify when several of those units can exploit the multiplier. Keep them protected from anti-cavalry and infantry screens while they close on the guns.
Concentrate the bonus on enemy guns
Battle Anger specializes the Lakota force against Artillery. The War Chief receives the largest listed increase, while five mounted unit lines receive a 100% increase to their bonus damage. This does not make them safe from the guns’ escorts; send them with support and choose an approach that avoids being trapped by anti-cavalry units. The technology’s cost is high for a narrow target class, so research it when the opponent has enough artillery to justify the investment.
