Story setting

Brunswick is a scripted campaign location rather than a selectable civilization or a standard random-map settlement. Defend the Colony focuses on holding the colony during the Cherokee attacks, with a neighboring colony joining the defense. The following scenario changes the situation through the heroes’ encounter with the Cherokee and the British, leading to a new settlement and a conflict with the British force. These events and objectives are mission-specific; the location does not define a reusable Skirmish ruleset.

Campaign role

Use Brunswick as a story and navigation entry when following Act II: Ice. In Defend the Colony, keep enough force near the settlement to protect its Town Center before pursuing optional objectives. In Strange Alliances, complete the Cherokee and negotiation goals before moving into the later colony-building phase. The scenario pages provide exact objective order and optional tasks; John Black, Ká:nien and Cherokee Horse Archer cover key characters and units.

Following the Brunswick missions

Brunswick is best read as a linked campaign location, not a free-play civilization or a reusable Skirmish ruleset. Defend the Colony establishes John Black and his mercenaries as hired defenders when Cherokee forces attack the British colony and nearby settlements. The following Strange Alliances mission changes the political situation through the heroes’ contact with the Cherokee and the British, before the story moves into a new colony and a later conflict. Players following Act II: Ice should complete the defense objective before chasing optional tasks that pull the army away from the settlement. In the next scenario, follow the stated negotiation and Cherokee objectives before transitioning into the colony-building phase. The exact objectives belong to those scenario pages, while this entry explains how Brunswick connects the campaign’s story and locations.
