Function & construction
Two neutral Irish Confederates begin south of the Minster. Move a unit nearby to capture one; a player can lose it again if no nearby unit can retain control. It cannot be damaged or destroyed. The Commerce Age roster includes Bonaght Soldiers, Irish Horsemen, Irish Brigadiers and Gallowglass.
Placement & timing
Capture one early enough to benefit from its passive Experience and population support, but keep a unit near it if the enemy can contest the site. Compare its available recruits with the army composition needed for the map; the building belongs to this historical scenario and does not follow ordinary Village, Town Center or Minor settlement rules.
Capture and hold the neutral site
The two structures begin unowned south of the Minster. Ownership changes through nearby military presence, and a player can lose control if no eligible unit remains close enough to retain it. Because the building is invulnerable, the contest is about clearing the area and maintaining a garrison rather than sieging the structure. Its steady 0.7 Experience-per-second income supports shipments while its population allowance raises the force limit by 15. Protecting a captured site can therefore support both the economy of reinforcements and the army cap.
Available Irish units
The building trains four Commerce Age options: Bonaght Soldiers cost 70 Food and 25 Wood for one population; Irish Horsemen cost 80 Food and 90 Coin for two; Irish Brigadiers cost 100 Coin for one; and Gallowglass cost 220 Coin for two. The mix gives the site both affordable infantry and more specialized units, but its fixed roster is controlled by the War of the Three Kingdoms scenario. Use its production to complement the faction’s other forces rather than assuming it supplies a complete army by itself.
