Pripet Marshes
Pripet Marshes is a Random Map themed around the Pinsk Marshland, a vast wetland area along the basin of the Pripyat River in eastern Europe. Its in-game starts and resource placements are generated for each match.

Map character
Scout the wetland crossings and resource patches in the generated match instead of assuming the Pinsk Marshland theme fixes their locations. Check the settlement pool and nearby Treasure guardians before moving the Explorer far from the base. Expand only along ground that workers and reinforcements can both reach.
What to scout
A forward settlement or Treasure is worth contesting when the route is visible and the starting force can protect it. If the marshes split the army or make a retreat uncertain, stay compact and secure nearby Food and Coin first. Update the plan after scouting reveals which crossing remains defensible.
Plan around a generated wetland layout
Pripet Marshes represents the Pinsk Marshland and uses generated resource and starting placements. The historical theme does not guarantee a fixed resource pattern. Scout the actual map for crossings, safe Food and Coin, and expansion ground before selecting a build order; player count and map generation affect the routes that can be defended.
Native settlements and named treasure guardians
The map’s settlement pool includes Jagiellon, Oldenburg and Vasa, while recorded treasure guardians include Marauding Cossack, Plague Doctor and Brown Bear. These are possible map contents, not a guarantee that every match places all of them near every player. Scout the generated layout before committing to an alliance or sending an Explorer after a Treasure; a guardian or opponent can make a seemingly nearby reward costly.
Generated terrain matters more than the historical label
Pripet Marshes takes its theme from the Pinsk Marshland in the Pripyat River basin. Its random-map setup means starts, resources and objective placement vary, so the regional setting does not specify a fixed build order or guaranteed path. Check the actual crossings and resource patches, then decide whether to expand toward a settlement or remain compact. Update the army plan when scouting reveals which side of the wetland is easiest to defend.
