Resist!
Resist! is the third scenario of Act III: India in The Asian Dynasties. Set at the beginning of the 1857 Sepoy Rebellion in Meerut, it sends the Indian force from a town fight into the eastern mines.

Scenario setting & objectives
The required sequence is to defeat the Company soldiers in town, destroy the Command Post, reach the eastern Mines and then destroy the Weapon Caches inside. The objectives form a push across the map rather than a single base defense.
Research condition
The Asian Dynasties; Act III: India, scenario 3; 1857; Indian Mutineers versus British India Company.
Mission approach
Clear the town and Command Post before moving the main force east. Preserve enough strength for the mine approach and keep units together around the Weapon Caches, where splitting the army can make the final assault harder.
Scenario objective
Resist! is a scenario centered on holding a position against an enemy assault. Preserve the required structure or hero, use the terrain and available defenses to delay attackers, and avoid sending the entire starting force away from the objective. Follow the mission briefing for the exact survival condition and optional goals.
Sepoy Rebellion mission sequence
Resist! is the third scenario of Act III: India in The Asian Dynasties, set in Meerut at the beginning of the 1857 Sepoy Rebellion. The required sequence is to defeat Company soldiers in town, destroy the Command Post, reach the eastern Mines and destroy the Weapon Caches inside. This is a staged advance across the map, so do not treat the opening battle as the whole mission. Clear the town and Command Post while preserving enough units for the eastern push. Scout the route to the mines before moving the main force, and keep units together when approaching the Weapon Caches. The Indian army must transition from the city fight to the final objective without relying on the economy of a normal skirmish match. Use the mission briefing to follow the objective triggers and manage the force; the historical setting and scripted enemies differ from standard Indian civilization play. Protect the units needed to reach the mines, and focus fire on the required targets rather than spending time on unrelated engagements.
Eastern mine assault
The mine phase follows the town fight and destruction of the Company Command Post. Preserve enough troops to travel east and destroy the Weapon Caches, which are the final required targets. Keep the army together on the route and do not let optional combat weaken the assault force. This mission is set during the 1857 uprising in Meerut and belongs to Act III: India. It is a scripted Asian Dynasties scenario, so use the mission objectives rather than standard Indian build orders.
Objective priority
Defeat the Company soldiers, destroy the Command Post, then reach the eastern mines and destroy the Weapon Caches. Preserve enough of the starting force for the final stage rather than winning the opening at any cost.
Preserving the force across mission stages
The mission’s progression is a sequence: defeat the Company troops in Meerut, destroy their Command Post, move east to the Mines and destroy the Weapon Caches. The first battle can consume the force needed for the final approach, so focus attacks on threats that block the route and avoid chasing enemies away from the objective. After the Command Post falls, regroup before the march east; the mission is an authored scenario with objectives and available forces set by the campaign, not a standard economic match. Use the terrain and the starting army to keep units together, and approach the mines with enough strength to complete the cache objective rather than splitting into isolated groups. The setting refers to the 1857 Sepoy Rebellion, but the actionable goal is the scenario’s objective sequence. Follow the mission indicators as triggers advance, since clearing the town alone does not complete the scenario. This is Act III: India in The Asian Dynasties and its Definitive Edition release; its scripted Company enemies should not be treated as a general description of Indian civilization strategy.
Completing the eastern objective
Once the Command Post is destroyed, regroup and move the remaining force toward the eastern Mines. The Weapon Caches there are the mission’s final targets; do not confuse victory in the town with completion. Keep ranged units protected during the march and focus the assault on the required objects as soon as the route is safe. The campaign’s scripted force and objective triggers are different from a normal skirmish economy, so preserve the units provided by the scenario.
Clear Meerut and enter the eastern mines
Resist! is the third Act III: India mission and is based on the opening of the Sepoy Rebellion in Meerut on May 10, 1857. The player must defeat all Company soldiers in town, destroy the Command Post, fight into the eastern Mines and remove the Weapon Caches there. Complete the city objectives before moving the army deep into the mines, and keep enough troops together to clear the narrow eastern approach. The Command Post is a required target, not an optional structure; destroying it does not replace clearing the mine caches. Scout ahead for guards and use the mine route as the mission’s final push. The sequence shifts the campaign from defending Company positions to dismantling the military presence that controls the town.
