Map character

Scouting should locate the central route, nearby Tin Mines and Elephant herds before workers spread out. Each listed Tin Mine contains 1,500 Coin, while Salmon schools provide 500 Food. The settlements are Akan, Berbers, Sudanese and Yoruba; Desert Archers and Desert Warriors are listed Outlaws. Treasure guardians and exact resource positions vary with the generated match.

What to scout

Treat the central Trade Route as an early contest because it spans the map and competes with access to limited resource sites. Secure a mine or herd only when the route to it can be protected; the open terrain makes distant workers and Trading Posts visible and vulnerable. Choose a Minor Civilization based on the unit or technology gap in the army you plan to field.

A map shaped by a long central route

The in-game description emphasizes limited resources in open grasslands, and the source lists a long central Trade Route. Posts can generate shipment progress, but they are also exposed to opponents moving across the open center. Scout the route and nearby settlements before committing workers, then decide whether an early post can be defended or whether safer resource access should come first.

Resource locations and alliance choices

The listed wildlife and deposits include Elephants, 500-Food Salmon and Tin Mines containing 1,500 Coin each. Akan, Berbers, Sudanese and Yoruba settlements create several possible alliance sites, while Desert Archers and Desert Warriors are local Outlaws. Use the actual map seed to identify which of these is near your start; the full roster of map features does not imply each one is equally accessible in every match.
