Watch Tower Builder
Watch Tower Builder is a Hausa construction wagon from Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition — The African Royals. It transforms into a free Watch Tower, giving the Hausa a defensive structure at a chosen frontier site. The wagon has 500 hit points, 4.0 speed and 18 line of sight, but it cannot defend itself with an attack. The completed tower only helps if it covers a useful approach and can be supported against siege.

Role, availability & values
Hausa can receive the builder through the Emir of Katsina Home City Card or research Arma Garrisons at the University after advancing with the Moroccans as their alliance. Send it to a legal site and protect it until the Watch Tower is established. The two access routes have different timing: a Home City shipment and an alliance-dependent University technology should not be treated as identical early-game options.
Matchup & timing
Use the wagon to secure a route, resource area or forward settlement that the army is prepared to hold. The 500 hit points help it survive incidental pressure but do not make it a military escort; keep troops near the travel route and the completed tower. Consider whether the tower adds meaningful coverage before spending a card or researching the alliance technology.
Place the Hausa defensive tower deliberately
With 500 hit points and 4.0 speed, the wagon is more durable than many builders but can still be focused down. It constructs a Watch Tower for free after reaching a legal site. Choose a position that covers a route or forward settlement and can be supported by troops; the tower contributes no defense while the wagon is still traveling.
Two distinct Hausa access routes
The Emir of Katsina Home City Card can deliver a Watch Tower Builder. Alternatively, Arma Garrisons at the University provides access when the Hausa advance to the next Age with the Moroccans as their alliance. Once obtained, the 500-hit-point wagon moves at 4.0 speed and builds the tower for free. Select a location where the finished defense protects something valuable and the army can respond to siege.
