The Dai Viet Uprising ally-support plan
The Dai Viet Uprising is lost if an ally falls, while the player’s own base receives little early pressure. Invest in the economy first, then reinforce the threatened allied towns directly.

Overview
The Dai Viet Uprising is lost if an ally falls, while the player’s own base receives little early pressure. Invest in the economy first, then reinforce the threatened allied towns directly.
Plan and execution
Begin with food, wood, and stone rather than a large army. When the blue attacks begin, send two Villagers along a safe route into the allied settlement and build a Castle, Stable, and Barracks there. Train Pikemen and Light Cavalry to deal with rams and raid groups, and tribute resources if an ally needs help producing units. Once both allies are secure, add Battle Elephants and Rattan Archers before attacking the required towers.
Risks and adaptation
The roads are patrolled by Ming forces, so escort builders and avoid a lone Villager trip. The northern ally needs more help; do not split support evenly if one town is under heavier pressure.
