Role, availability & values
The company takes 20 seconds, uses six population and grants 40 Experience. Its six Redcoats arrive together rather than being trained one at a time from a British Barracks. The option depends on the Consulate roster enabled for the civilization and the Export economy that supports diplomatic purchases.
Training & availability
Chinese or Indian Consulate Banner Army; Commerce Age; select British Allies; 400 Export; 20 seconds; 6 population; 6 Redcoats.
Matchup & timing
Select it when the army needs a compact Heavy Infantry reinforcement and can protect the six Redcoats after arrival. Their group can add a quick screen for artillery or ranged troops, while the population cost is small enough to combine with other forces. The Redcoat entry explains the individual unit’s combat role and any scenario-specific profile; this company entry records the Consulate access, quantity and timing.
Use it as an arrival timing
A 20-second company arrival can help answer pressure sooner than rebuilding the same presence through a new production setup, but the Consulate choice and Export spending still have an opportunity cost. Check what other foreign roster options are available before committing. Keep population room for the package and position the arrival point so the Redcoats can join the army safely instead of walking through an exposed approach.
Company access and roster
Chinese and Indian players can select British Allies at the Consulate and train six Redcoats from the Commerce Age. The company costs 400 Export, takes 20 seconds and occupies six population. The package is an infantry reinforcement; it does not provide a Falconet or any other artillery.
Compare with the Fortress Age force
The British Expeditionary Force arrives later and costs twice as much, but it adds a Consulate Falconet and three more Redcoats in the Definitive Edition. Choose the Commerce Age company when a smaller infantry group is timely or population is tight. Choose the later force when its artillery role justifies the longer wait and additional Export.
