Huron
Huron is an Age of Empires III minor civilization from North America. It appears on maps including Great Lakes, New England, Plymouth, Saguenay. Players can establish an alliance at its settlement to access its local units and research.

Settlement & allied options
A Trading Post at the settlement unlocks the alliance. Inca players use a Tambo for the same purpose. The listed allied roster includes Huron Mantlet. Its settlement offers these technologies: Huron Sun Ceremony, Huron Trade Dominance, Huron Fish Wedding. The available roster and technologies can vary with the selected map and release.
When to ally
Scout the map for a Huron settlement before spending resources on an alliance. Use it when the listed unit or technology fills a need in the army or economy, and protect the Trading Post that provides access.
Huron Mantlet: ranged support with siege pressure
The Huron Mantlet is available from the Commerce Age through a Huron settlement or Native Embassy. It has 250 hit points, 40% ranged resistance and 3.5 speed; it costs 100 Food and 60 Wood and takes 30 seconds to train. Its attacks are 25 ranged damage at range 10, 45 siege damage at range 6, and 10 hand damage. The ranged resistance helps it remain under ordinary ranged fire, but its slow movement and close-range siege role make screening and positioning important.
Choose the settlement technology for the plan
Huron Sun Ceremony raises the Mantlet train limit by 200% for 225 Wood and 225 Coin, with a 60-second research time. Huron Trade Dominance costs 400 Wood and 400 Coin and supplies one Mantlet for every two minutes of game time up to 30 minutes. Huron Fish Wedding is the economic option: for 75 Wood and 75 Coin it improves Fishing Ship gathering from fish and whales by 15%, researched in 10 seconds. Each technology supports a different plan—larger Mantlet capacity, timed unit delivery or sustained water income.
Secure the correct settlement
Huron settlements are listed on Great Lakes, New England, Plymouth and Saguenay. A Trading Post unlocks the alliance; Inca use a Tambo. Scout the actual site and protect the post before investing, because the roster and research options can vary with the map and release. The Native Embassy is another route to the Mantlet, but does not replace the settlement requirement for Huron technologies.
