Overview

Military Schools provide free unit production over time, while Vizier Points unlock empire benefits. Mehter support and siege strength help turn sustained production into battlefield pressure.

Use in play

Place Military Schools early enough for their output to accumulate. Support the army with the right Mehter effect and keep siege protected from direct attacks.

Military Schools and Vizier Points

Military Schools produce selected units over time without spending the usual unit cost, turning early construction into continuing military output. Ottoman age progression also awards Vizier Points used to select Imperial Council benefits. The chosen school production and council options should support the army plan instead of duplicating units that cannot be used.

Mehter and siege

Mehter provide battlefield support effects, and Ottoman siege options can create strong pushes. Keep support units near the force they enhance and screen siege from cavalry or other direct threats. Military Schools do not replace normal production when a specific unit type is needed quickly.
