Matchup & timing
Nonahkee appears in both the Black Family Estate and John Black’s Mercenaries campaign contexts. Check the mission’s current faction and objective before choosing which nearby force to support; the same hero name does not mean every scenario offers the same army or route. Preserve her through the objective and use the recovery rule if she collapses.
Family, missions and story role
Nonahkee is Ká:nien’s sister and John Black’s long-time friend. During Act II: Ice, she remains in her village while Ká:nien and John go to help Stuart Black defend the colony; she is then caught up in the rescue story when the Circle attacks the Haudenosaunee settlement. Years later in Act I: Fire, she is an elder whose family ties connect the Black saga across generations: she is Nathaniel Black’s mother, Amelia Black’s grandmother and Chayton Black’s great-grandmother. Her relationship with John also makes her part of the family history that follows his campaign. Nonahkee appears in The Rescue (Ice) and The Rescue (Fire), while her hero profile includes Treasure claiming and Regeneration. At 450 hit points with 30% hand resistance, she is less durable than Ká:nien; the ranged attack has 14 damage at range 20 and fires every 1.5 seconds. If she collapses, keep a friendly unit or building nearby until she regenerates to 100 health so she can be revived.
Hero profile in the two Rescue missions
Nonahkee appears in The Rescue (Ice) and The Rescue (Fire). Her combat profile includes an 18-damage hand attack, a 14-damage ranged attack at range 20 and a 14-damage siege attack at range six. The 450-hit-point hero has 30% hand resistance and regenerates after collapse; a friendly unit or building must remain nearby until she reaches 100 health to revive. Keep her close to the rescue force rather than sending her alone to claim a distant Treasure.
Campaign hero and healing support
Nonahkee is a scenario hero who appears in The Rescue, The Seven Years’ War and The Great Lakes. She has 450 hit points, 30% hand resistance, speed five and sight 24. Her bow deals 14 damage at range 20 every 1.5 seconds, and her hand attack deals 18 damage at the same interval. Unlike an Explorer, she cannot build Town Centers or Trading Posts; her distinctive contribution is healing injured units, alongside fighting and claiming Treasures. Her healing ability restores 50 hit points per second to nearby friendly units, up to 400, within its area and range, with a 120-second cooldown. Keep her behind the line so wounded troops can recover, and use the long attack range to contribute without putting the hero in the front rank.
Collapse and recovery during a mission
If Nonahkee reaches zero hit points, she collapses rather than dying permanently. She regenerates over time and can be revived once she has recovered enough health if a friendly unit or building is nearby. Protect the area around her and clear enemies before trying to bring her back; otherwise, the rescue condition may be interrupted. Her healing ability and collapse mechanic make her valuable across a long scenario, where preserving the existing army can matter more than replacing losses. She has no special attack, so do not confuse her bow damage with a charged ability. Follow the mission’s objective and keep Nonahkee within support distance of the units most likely to take damage.
