Opening decision and first timing
Place the Folwark so a compact set of Farms can benefit without exposing workers. Stone mining also brings in gold, making a Castle or defensive stone plan less disruptive to military income. Discounted Scout research supports mounted pressure, but scout Spears and wall coverage before committing the first group.
Composition, counters, and transition
Obuchs help soften armored targets and can fight beside cavalry when an opponent prepares anti-mounted units. Szlachta Privileges can enable sustained Knight production after the economy and Stables are in place. Regenerating Villagers survive some small raids better, but still move threatened workers; the farm economy must remain active for a cavalry-heavy composition.
Opening priorities
Place the Folwark near Berries and shape the opening around its food income and Villager-focused economy.
Core army
Winged Hussars and Obuch give the civilization mobile and durable late-game options.
Technology & transition
Use the early economic strength to reach Castle Age with enough resources for sustained cavalry or infantry production.
Watch for
Keep key economic buildings protected and manage gold carefully as the game moves into later stages.
