Prussia
Prussia is an Industrial Age Revolutionary Nation for Germans, with Berlin as its Home City. It converts the worker base into Guard Musketeers and replaces or upgrades much of the German roster, including Landwehr, Giant Grenadiers, Needle Gunners, Prussian Uhlans and Litauer Dragoons. It can also unlock a second-stage route to German Confederation.

Access & effects
Population space becomes 200 and Settler, Settler Wagon and Fishing Boat training is disabled. Villagers become Guard Musketeers, with an additional Musketeer for each Settler Wagon converted; Musketeers can be trained at Barracks, Forts and Galleons or Steamers. Crossbowmen and Pikemen are replaced by Guard Landwehr; Doppelsoldners upgrade to Imperial and are replaced by Giant Grenadiers; Skirmishers become Needle Gunners; Uhlans become Prussian Uhlans; and War Wagons or Prinz Chevaulegers become Litauer Dragoons. The Town Center can unlock German Confederation.

Army & economy
Prussia creates an immediate infantry force and changes several existing unit lines at once, so prepare the first attack and the post-revolt support roster before converting workers. Use the upgraded units according to their roles rather than producing one type only. If German Confederation is the intended follow-up, keep its access and second transition in mind: the next stage returns Musketeers to Settlers and Giant Grenadiers to Settler Wagons.
Musketeers and Guard access
The converted Musketeers provide a large immediate ranged infantry base, while standard European Guard access gives the player an upgraded roster for the army that follows. Use the transition force to pressure an opponent who has not prepared enough infantry counters, and keep artillery or other support ready for fortified positions. Because the Settlers become soldiers, the timing of the first attack determines whether the army can protect its value or is simply left without an economy.
Preparing the German Confederation path
Prussia can be a first step rather than the final nation. The Frankfurt Assembly card unlocks the German Confederation follow-up, which later returns heavy infantry to Citizen status. If planning that chain, keep the card sequence and two transitions in mind: first create military pressure, then use the follow-up’s Barricade Wagons to secure an economic recovery. Do not trigger the second stage until the new workers can be protected.
