Cheyenne
Cheyenne is an Age of Empires III minor civilization from North America. It appears on maps including Colorado, Dakota, Great Lakes, Great Plains, Rockies. Players can establish an alliance at its settlement to access its local units and research.

Settlement & allied options
A Trading Post at the settlement unlocks the alliance. Inca players use a Tambo for the same purpose. The listed allied roster includes Cheyenne Rider. Its settlement offers these technologies: Cheyenne Hunting Grounds, Cheyenne Horse Trading, Cheyenne Fury. The available roster and technologies can vary with the selected map and release.
When to ally
Scout the map for a Cheyenne settlement before spending resources on an alliance. Use it when the listed unit or technology fills a need in the army or economy, and protect the Trading Post that provides access.
Cheyenne Rider is durable shock cavalry
The Cheyenne Rider is Commerce Age heavy cavalry with 300 hit points, 10% ranged resistance and 6.75 speed. It costs 95 Food and 90 Wood and trains in 40 seconds. Its hand attack deals 21 damage and its trample attack deals 11 damage over an area of effect of 3. It can pressure clustered targets and use its health to stay in the fight, but its value still depends on choosing fights that do not leave it surrounded by counters.
Three distinct alliance benefits
Cheyenne Hunting Grounds costs 175 Wood and 175 Coin and delivers 12 Bison. Cheyenne Horse Trading reduces training time by 40% for the listed Cavalry, Shock Troop and named Asian Army categories, and by 20% for Standard, Black Flag, Ming and Imperial Armies; it costs 250 Wood and 250 Coin. Cheyenne Fury increases Cheyenne Rider bonus damage by 1.0× against Cavalry and 0.8× against Shock Troops for 350 Wood and 350 Coin. These options support Food, replacement speed or a more specialized Rider matchup.
Map access and settlement control
Cheyenne settlements are listed on Colorado, Dakota, Great Lakes, Great Plains and Rockies. A Trading Post or Inca Tambo on the settlement unlocks its research and allied unit; the Native Embassy is another training route for Cheyenne Riders. Check the site and available resources before committing to the relatively expensive Fury technology.
