Release and opening

Gallery Case was introduced on October 2, 2024. At release, it was offered through The Armory for two stars. That documents its original acquisition route, not a guarantee that the offer remains active. The case is a cosmetic inventory container, not a weapon available for purchase during a round.

Opening it requires the matching Case Key because Gallery Case is a locked weapon case. An opening gives one eligible result rather than the full set: a regular weapon finish from the case pool or a rare special item from its Kukri Knife pool. The case determines which items are eligible; the key unlocks it but does not choose or guarantee a particular result.

Mil-Spec Grade weapon finishes

The seven Mil-Spec Grade finishes are M249 | Hypnosis, MP5-SD | Statics, SCAR-20 | Trail Blazer, AUG | Luxe Trim, R8 Revolver | Tango, USP-S | 27 and Desert Eagle | Calligraffiti. These are the largest regular tier in the case’s 17-finish collection.

Restricted Grade weapon finishes

The five Restricted Grade finishes are P90 | Randy Rush, Dual Berettas | Hydro Strike, SSG 08 | Rapid Transit, MAC-10 | Saibā Oni and M4A4 | Turbine. Each name identifies a cosmetic finish paired with that weapon, not a separate weapon or gameplay upgrade.

Classified and Covert Grade weapon finishes

The Classified Grade entries are P250 | Epicenter, UMP-45 | Neo-Noir and AK-47 | The Outsiders. The two Covert Grade entries are Glock-18 | Gold Toof and M4A1-S | Vaporwave. Together with the Mil-Spec and Restricted entries, these account for all 17 standard weapon finishes.

Rare special item: Kukri Knife

The rare special-item pool is separate from the ordinary finish tiers and features the Kukri Knife. Its named finishes are the default Kukri Knife, Blue Steel, Boreal Forest, Case Hardened, Crimson Web, Fade, Forest DDPAT, Night Stripe, Safari Mesh, Scorched, Slaughter, Stained and Urban Masked. These are knife finishes, not additional entries in the 17-weapon roster.

Relationship to The Armory and inventory

Gallery Case connects community-created weapon cosmetics with CS2’s case-opening system. The case and its key are consumed in an opening, while the received finish becomes a separate inventory item. Finishes do not change their weapons’ damage, recoil or other combat properties. Compare the case with Collections and individual Weapon Skins to understand where a finish belongs after it is obtained.

The case was part of The Armory’s launch-era offers; its later availability can change independently of its contents. See The Armory for the star-based offer system and Weapon Cases for container rules. This page covers the CS2 Gallery Case released in 2024 and does not mix in cases or reward pools from other Counter-Strike versions.
